Hi, I’m Peter.
For the last six years, I’ve written about home improvement, real estate, and sustainable living. My particular area of expertise is in handy skills and advice for homeowners. Growing up, I spent a lot of time in my grandfather’s workshop, where he taught me about woodworking, plumbing, and electrical work. Working with him left me with a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and gave me a more practical perspective on all things home-related.
In 2020, I was fortunate enough to join the Renovated team as an associate editor. This position gave me the chance to cultivate my expertise in a wide range of fields beyond handy advice for homeowners, such as construction and real estate. For construction, I’ve pursued implementing sustainable methodologies, such as sourcing ecological materials and incorporating renewable energy. In real estate, I specialize in providing homeowners with practical insights into market trends to help them maximize their investments.
